News 28/08/2010Hi Everyone, Things are coming finally coming together with the $$$ for accommodation been paid, so thanks to all for that. We have had a few more ladies come forward to boost our numbers, so the girls that are a little underdone……stop panicking, everything is fine. For those who don't know here are the latest team members:
A reminder for those who have not registered, registration is due by the 10th September, please go on line and register ASAP. The latest players to join our teams are Catherine Bell (Mildura), Julie Bestry, Leonie LeCras and Shauna (all from Perth) and Michelle Elliot (Adelaide). Also our new Ladies players that are playing for the Bears for the first time Lyn (Leroy) Sweeney, Vicki Vlass, Yole Gower, Jenny Garonne, Sue Matulick, Kas Jarrett, Vicki Mules and Denise Moldovan. Some are Masters Virgins and some have seen the light and joined the strength. Actually as a new club everyone is a new member, but these are the girls that are new to (what was) the Riverland Masters. The new members in the mens line up are Thommo, Stitchy, Jack (almost a virgin again), and Lindsay. So I look forward to meeting you all and getting sociable with you in Alice. Less than 6 weeks to go. The only outstanding $$ are from a few members that owe for the walkout kit. If you like you can email me if you're not sure and I can give you details of our bank. As I've explained to the new members that joined us after the shirts were ordered, I do have a few spares but I'm unsure of the sizes that will be available. We may have to sort out a few loose ends when we get there. It will work out some how. Don't forget when we get to Alice, I want to try and get together at the Elkira Motel, to hand out all the walk out kit and uniforms. This will be Saturday arvo. Sunday we need to have a Bi-Annual General Meeting. We need to elect Office Bearers and all that crap for the bank signators etc. New uniforms on display www.polarbearsbasketball.com I think that is all for now Cheers Be afraid, very, very afraid! |
