NOMINATIONS CALLED FOR ALICE SPRINGS
Alice Springs Masters Games - 2012
The Alice Springs Masters are on once again this year from 13 - 20 October 2012.
The Polar Bears are once again fielding teams in the mens and womens basketball competitions and are looking for nominations.
New and returning Polar Bears are most welcome to play. We will at minimum have one mens and one womens side, but that could easily change depending on how much interest we get.
At the 2010 games we had 2 x Mens over 45, 1 x womens over 45 and 1 x womens over 40's.
You can either express our interest through the website email address which we promise to actually start checking this year, or you can email Snow or Ferg or Emmo or anyone you know and it will eventually get back to us.
It's pretty important to get moving now, and if you want to be part of the team you should start organizing your accommodation in Alice as it tends to get booked out pretty quickly.
Once again we will be getting players packs organized, but more about that later.
